DON NORDGREN BEQUEST
February 11, 1948 – January 3, 2004
The Don Nordgren Bequest stipulates that the fund is to be used to assist Canadian Alpine FIS Technical Delegates (TD) to:
- Attend courses and seminars, and to purchase necessary materials for such courses.
- Develop educational courses for the advancement and improvement of Technical Delegates.
The Trustees for the fund are stipulated to be the (current) FIS TD Commission for Canada and the Managing Director of the Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA).
The fund of $25,000 CAD has grown to almost $50,000 CAD and every effort is made to keep the original capital amount of $25,000 intact.
Application to access the fund comes from the Canadian FIS TD Working Group and is directed to the Fondation Ski Canada Foundation.
